Robin Fitter / Fitalic

Meeting at the age of three while attending preschool, Jeroen & Robin, an interna- tional produc tion powerhouse, discovered the importance of true friendship early on in life. Fourteen years later, they became interested in house music when they heard it being played on a local radio station in The Hague, and thus the journey began.

While out clubbing late one night in The Hague, Jeroen & Robin heard a talented DJ by the name of Remy. Fuelling their interest in this very special sound, Bas, a close friend of Robin, and Jeroen’s twin brother, introduced them to mixing and soon they started buying vinyl getting to know the latest sounds.

Although getting an excellent feel for the music, Jeroen & Robin still felt empty, until one night in The Hague they watched a live performance of the dynamic duo (Pako and Frederik).

Robin and Jeroen at that moment knew they wanted to be on stage performing their own music. Around 1998 they decided that they would take a different approach to things, bought their first set of production equipment, and began to produce their own music. Two years later they had their debut release as Fitalic (maybe you’ll remember it: “Daytripper / Unbalanced”) with Bas creating the name. The Hague could now add another name to its list of producers along with the likes of international greats such as, Sander Kleinenberg, DJ Remy, Pako & Frederik, and Roland Klinkenberg.

Influenced by these same great artists (and others) Fitalic has now had sixteen 12” releases under the Fitalic banner, including releases on Bedrock (UK), Vapour (AU) and 19box (JAP). Their tracks have been played by the likes of DJ Remy, Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, John Digweed, Kasey Taylor, Chris Fortier, and Jerry Bonham. Just to name a few.

In the summer of 2002 Fitalic began to perform as a live-show. Following the major name and success of their tracks, Fitalic could be seen performing across the globe in raves and clubs alike, along side of the best in the biz. Adding to an already large amount of events and experience.

Continuing to produce only the best tracks as a team, or through various solo projects, it is unquestionable that you have not heard the sounds of this phenomenal duo. Currently working on tracks for Pangea Records, Sprout Music and Nervine records , as well as various CO-productions, Fitalic has easily become a much recognized and respected name in the biz.

Fitalic is currently available for Live performances and remix productions.
