Gift

Gift has been djing for 6 years, and producing for 4 years and he is 24 years old. Gift is from Chicago but has lived in Denver CO quite some time now. He has contributed a lot to the Denver scene.

He started by playing guitar at the age of 15, a couple years later he jumped into the dance music scene. He started to dj in 1996, a year later he got his first gig at the biggest club in Colorado at the time as a resident dj for Silver Saturdays.

There he played his residency for 2 years. He played with the likes of djs every week such as, Sandra Collins, Chris Fortier, Nick Warren, Timo Maas, Terry Francis, Jerry Bonham, and most of the Balance djs.

After Chris Fortier had him open up for him, and listen to some of the music he was making Chris Fortier called him up and asked him to be in the Balance record pool! He was the youngest dj chosen to be in Balance! After his residencies at Soma he was playing more and more clubs and events.

He played at Denver's biggest clubs such as Pure, Amsterdam, and The Sanctuary. After a while Gift decided to take some time to really focus on producing. After a short time he was well on his way with his first release "Duration" on Pure Music. Gift has two more releases in the near future on Vapour Recordings and Nervine`s new compilation! Dj `s all over the world are now playing out his tracks, dj `s such as Sasha, Steve Lawler, Chris Fortier, Kasey Taylor, Blue-room Project and Thomas Penton. Gift is currently a resident at Blue 67, and super club Lotus.
